„The purpose which I serve is very old and unique. This is cloisonné enamel, the technology which was invented by people centuries ago. Everything what is made with this technology is created with the help of love, they bear parts of stories and tales. People feel this and they too fall in love with their jewels. These artworks make us happier and add beauty to our lives.“ tells the artist.
With a lot of modesty in 2019, the idea behind Monetiforme was created.
The name “MONETIFORME” found its origins in the main concept of fabrication : the silver outline that will form the jewel, matches the shapes of the coins. The origins of the coins are various, from all centuries and places. They are usually made of bronze, copper, silver or gold. No two pieces are the same, and to wear these one-of-a kind necklaces is to feel completely unique. It is like wearing a piece of history.
For the first time, MONETIFORME will create exclusive replicas, made of silver, vermeil and copper. These coins have been especially selected for their history, as they retrace Georgian origins starting from Colchian culture.
MONETIFORME cultivates modern design and rich heritage from Georgian artisans to create timeless handcrafted pieces of jewelry. After a careful selection, the outline of each coin is entirely handmade. Each piece is handcrafted in Tbilisi, Georgia.
